The meeting was called to order at 3pm by FCTFA President Carie Siegfried.

Officer Reports:

President, Carie Siegfried:

*Reviewed agenda - thanked host agency, Altercare; new member introductions; Committee member introductions

Vice President, Nicole Cha:

*Asked members to contact her if interested in having their organization be a future host site for a Taskforce meeting.

*Encouraged members to contact her with topic ideas and/or speakers for future meetings.

*Announced next month's meeting location and speaker.

Treasurer, Monica Mayer:

*Current account balance $1,894.08

*Membership dues forms can be picked up at meetings or printed from the web site and mailed with a check to the PO Box (details on the application) or turned in at the meeting.

Secretary, Bobbi Reed:

*Reiterated FCTFA has its own e-mail address - members can send an e-mail about upcoming events, announcements, etc. to the address and, with approval, it will be mass distributed to the listserv.

*There was no opposition from the membership to receiving announcements, meeting reminders, etc via e-mail instead of through US mail, thereby saving the Taskforce money on overhead and allowing the money to be spent on seniors, the main priority of the Taskforce. 

*Previous meeting minutes were accepted with no opposition from the membership.

Old Business:

*FCTFA community projects to benefit seniors will take place quarterly starting the 2nd quarter of this year.

*FCTFA members are forming a team to support the 2009 Arthritis Walk - contact Carie Siegfried if interested in participating.

New Business: none

The meeting was adjourned at 4:10 by President Carie Siegfried.
